Okay, so, the other day I decided it was time to finally get this whole “patio TV dinners” thing going. You know, like those fancy folks do. I have this decent-sized patio, and I always thought it would be cool to have a little outdoor dining setup, maybe even with a TV out there for game nights or just chilling with a movie under the stars.
First things first, I needed a table and chairs. I spent like, a whole day just browsing online. There are so many options, it’s crazy! And the prices, sheesh. Some of those fancy sets are way out of my league. But I read some reviews and this one site, CHOICE, seemed pretty legit. They had reviews on a bunch of different brands and even some tips on what to look for. And the reviews were a little bit rude but it was funny.
Finding the Right Gear

- It’s made from recycled plastic, which I thought was pretty cool.
- And apparently, it’s super durable and can handle all kinds of weather.
After a lot of searching for “best outdoor dining table”, I finally found a table that seemed like a good fit. It wasn’t too big, but big enough to comfortably seat like four people. Perfect for me and a few friends.
Then came the TV. I didn’t want to spend a fortune, but I also didn’t want some tiny screen that you can barely see. I read some more reviews and found a decent-sized TV that wasn’t too expensive and had good ratings for outdoor use. This was harder than finding the table, seriously.
Setting everything up took another day. I had to get some help from my neighbor to carry the table out to the patio because it was surprisingly heavy. The TV was easier, but I still had to figure out how to mount it on the wall. I watched a couple of videos online and managed to get it up there without any major disasters.
Enjoying Patio TV Dinners
The first night I had everything set up, I made a simple dinner – some frozen burritos – I heard that the brand “Patio” is no longer on the market, but only some products like frozen burritos are still sold with this brand. And I also learned that Stouffer’s is by far the highest-selling brand for the frozen food. So I bought some frozen foods from Stouffer’s, and it turned out not bad! I invited a couple of friends over, and we watched a game on the new TV. It was awesome! The picture was great, the sound was good, and it was just so relaxing to be outside. Now I could enjoy my patio TV dinners.
Honestly, it was a lot of work, and it wasn’t exactly cheap. I probably spent more than I should have. But now that it’s all done, I’m super happy with it. It’s like having a whole new room in my house. I’ve been eating dinner out there almost every night since. So, yeah, if you’re thinking about doing something like this, I’d say go for it. Just be prepared to do some research and maybe spend a little more than you planned. But it’s totally worth it!
