Okay, so I’ve been seeing this cookie butter cake all over my feeds, and I finally caved. I had to try making it. It looked so gooey and delicious, and honestly, I just love anything cookie butter. Here’s how it went down:

Gathering My Stuff
First, I grabbed all the ingredients. I already had most of the basics like flour, sugar, eggs, and butter. But I did have to make a special trip for the cookie butter – and I may have bought two jars, just in case. You know, for “quality control.”
Mixing It Up
I started by creaming together the butter and sugar. I love this part, watching it all get light and fluffy. Then, I cracked in the eggs one at a time, making sure each one was mixed in well. After that, I added the dry ingredients – flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gotta have that salt to balance the sweetness, right?
The Cookie Butter Magic
Now for the star of the show! I scooped a generous amount of cookie butter into the batter and folded it in gently. I didn’t want to overmix it, just wanted those beautiful swirls of cookie butter goodness throughout the cake.
Bake Time
I poured the batter into a greased and floured pan. Seriously, don’t skip this step, or you’ll be cursing later when your cake sticks. I popped it in the oven, which I had preheated, and set a timer. The waiting was the hardest part, the whole kitchen started smelling amazing.
The Finishing Touch
Once the cake was done (toothpick test is your friend!), I let it cool in the pan for a bit before turning it out onto a rack. While it was still warm, I spread a thin layer of – you guessed it – more cookie butter on top. It melted slightly and created this incredible glaze.
Taste Test (The Best Part!)
Finally, the moment of truth! I sliced myself a piece, and oh. my. goodness. It was SO good. The cake was moist and tender, with pockets of melty cookie butter. The glaze on top added even more flavor. It was seriously heaven.
I had to try another piece immediately.

- The texture come out really nice.
- Next time, I may want to make a Cookie Butter cream to put at top.
I will to try other flavor next time!
