You know, that place, Boulevard Seafood, in Somerville, NJ, it ain’t too bad. I heard about it from my neighbor, she’s always going places. She said, “You gotta try this seafood place.” And I thought, “Seafood? In Somerville?” But you know what, it’s alright.
They got all kinds of stuff there. Fish, shrimp, them little clam things. Last time I was there, I got some fish, fried up real nice. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Just the way I like it. They got fresh seafood, or so they say. Comes from that Fulton Fish Market, wherever that is. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it tastes good, so who am I to complain?
Good Food, I Guess
They got this thing, shrimp tacos. My neighbor, she loves them. Says the shrimp is cooked just right. With that green stuff, guacamole, and some onions. And mango! Who puts mango with shrimp? But she likes it. Me, I stick to the fried fish. Can’t go wrong with fried fish.
Boulevard Seafood Company, that’s the whole name. Sounds like some big-time operation, doesn’t it? It’s on that main street there, 49 West Main Street, Somerville, NJ 08876, if you want to find it. Easy to spot. Lots of folks going in and out.
They’re open six days a week. Closed on, I think it’s Sundays. Good for them, everyone needs a day of rest. They serve lunch and, you know, the other meal, later. Dinner! That’s the word. So, you can go there pretty much anytime you’re hungry.

The place is always busy. Lots of people like that seafood in Somerville. It is a good place to eat. The folks there are nice, too. They bring you your food, and they smile. They got that open kitchen thing. You can see them cooking back there. Makes you feel like you’re part of the action.
They got these things, “small plates,” they call ’em. Like little bits of this and that. Crab and avocado, all rolled up. And some kind of salmon cakes. I don’t know about all that fancy stuff. I just like a big plate of fried fish. But hey, if you like that kind of thing, they got it.
They got that Wi-Fi thing, too. My grandson, he’s always on his phone. He’d like that. And you can call ahead, you know, make a reservation. That’s good if you’re going with a big group. Like when my whole family went, for my birthday. We had a big table. It was nice.

So, yeah, that Boulevard Seafood in Somerville, NJ. It’s a good place to eat. Good food. Good people. If you like seafood, you’ll probably like this place. They got a bit of everything. Even that mango stuff, if you’re into that. Me, I’ll stick to my fried fish. But you do you.
They got other stuff, too. Not just fish. I saw someone eating a big old steak once. Looked good, but I didn’t try it. I was there for the fish. Maybe next time. They got soups, too. And salads. For those that like that kind of stuff.
They got plenty to choose from there at that Boulevard Seafood place in Somerville. They got good food. And it’s not too pricey. You can get a good meal without breaking the bank. That’s important, you know. Especially these days. Everything’s so expensive.
