Okay, so I’ve been craving this specific bowl of noodles lately, you know, the kind you just can’t get out of your head? So, I decided to finally make it myself. It wasn’t some fancy recipe, just something I threw together, and honestly, it turned out pretty darn good!

First, I gathered all my stuff. I’m talking about:
- Some noodles – I used the instant ramen kind, because, let’s be real, they’re quick and easy.
- An egg.
- Some leftover veggies I had in the fridge – mostly just onions and some wilted greens.
- Soy sauce, because, duh.
- Some chili garlic sauce I am addicted to.
- Water, obviously.
I started by boiling some water in a pot. While that was happening, I chopped up the onions and greens into little pieces. Nothing fancy, just a rough chop.
Once the water was boiling like crazy, I threw in the noodles. I let those cook for a couple of minutes, just until they started to soften up.
Then, I cracked the egg right into the pot. I like my egg a little runny, so I didn’t stir it too much. I just let it kind of poach in the noodle water.
Next, I dumped in the chopped veggies. I figured they’d cook pretty quickly in the hot water, and I didn’t want them to get too mushy.
After about a minute, I poured everything into a bowl. I am so exciting!
The Final Touches
Now for the best part: the flavor! I added a good splash of soy sauce and a generous dollop of that chili garlic sauce. I like things spicy, so I might have gone a little overboard, but hey, it’s my bowl of noodles!

I mixed everything together, making sure the egg yolk broke and coated the noodles. And that was it! My super simple, totally satisfying bowl of noodle soup. It wasn’t pretty, but it was delicious, and it hit the spot perfectly. I’m definitely making this again. Maybe next time I’ll add some meat, or try different veggies. The possibilities are endless!
