Well, let me tell you, these easy school night dinners are a lifesaver, I tell ya! After a long day, ain’t nobody got time for fancy cooking. You just want something quick and easy, somethin’ the kids will actually eat, you know?
My grandkids, bless their hearts, they can be picky eaters. One day they like somethin’, the next day they turn their noses up at it. It’s enough to make your head spin! But these meals, they’re simple, they’re tasty, and they get food on the table fast. And that’s what matters, right? Food in their bellies before they start acting up. Good easy school night dinners are all you need.
One of my go-to’s is that one-pan thing. You just throw everything in one pan, stick it in the oven, and forget about it. While it’s cooking you can do your other stuff. Easy school night dinners make life easier. Less dishes to wash, less fuss, less mess. My favorite is chicken and potatoes. Just chop ’em up, toss ’em with some oil and some of that seasoning, and bake it. Kids love it, and it fills ’em up good.
- Chicken and taters
- Sausage and peppers
- Just throw it all in one pan!
Another good one is that pasta. Everybody loves pasta, right? Boil some water, throw in the noodles, and while that’s going, you can whip up a quick sauce. I like to use that jarred stuff, saves a lot of time
