Okay, so today’s little project was all about huge soup bowls. You know, those big ol’ bowls that can hold a whole meal? I’ve been wanting some for ages, ever since I saw someone using them in a video online. I mean, who doesn’t love a good, hearty bowl of soup or stew, especially when it’s cold outside?
So, first, I started poking around online, just to see what my options were. I checked out a few different stores and websites. There are a bunch of different kinds out there! Some are ceramic, some are porcelain, and they come in all sorts of colors and designs.
- I saw some that were like 60 ounces – that’s huge!
- Others were a bit smaller, around 30 or 36 ounces, which is still pretty big.
I found a few sets that I liked, most of them included like 3 or 4 bowls. I read some reviews, checked out the prices, and tried to narrow it down. It’s tough, though, because there are so many choices! And of course, you want to make sure they’re durable and can handle the microwave and dishwasher.
Making the Decision
After a while, I decided to go with a set of four 30-ounce ceramic bowls. They’re a nice, simple white color, which I like because it goes with everything. Plus, they said they were microwave and dishwasher safe, which is a must for me. I just don’t have time for hand-washing dishes! I can put soup, pasta, salad, ice cream, or any other food in these bowls.
So, I placed the order and waited. And waited. Finally, they arrived! I was so excited to open them up. They were packaged really well, so no chips or cracks. Phew! I washed them right away and then made a big pot of my favorite soup. It was so satisfying to eat it out of those big bowls. They felt so nice and substantial in my hands. I think those 30-ounce bowls might hold an entire meal.
Honestly, I’m super happy with my purchase. I can already tell these bowls are going to get a lot of use. I’m already dreaming up all the different soups, stews, and maybe even big salads I can eat out of them. If you’re looking for some big soup bowls, I definitely recommend doing some research and finding a set that you love. You won’t regret it!
