Today I want to share my experience at 528 Prime Steak and Seafood. It’s a place in Tappahannock that I’ve been hearing about, and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure.
So, I headed over to 528 N Church Ln, where this restaurant is. I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was the seating. You can choose between indoor and outdoor, which is pretty neat. I opted for indoor this time, but maybe next time I’ll try the outdoor area.
Now, onto the important stuff – the food. I started with the calamari appetizer, and man, it was a good choice. Crispy, flavorful, just what you want to kick things off. Then came the main event. I decided to go with a 6 oz filet, and my girlfriend picked the ribeye. To go with our steaks, we each had a glass of wine. I’m no wine expert, but it tasted pretty good to me.
The steaks were the stars, no doubt. My filet was cooked just right, tender and juicy. The ribeye was also a hit, full of flavor. I also heard some folks talking about the 10 oz sirloin, saying it was well-seasoned. Might have to give that a try next time. This is actually the third time in a row my girlfriend and I have treated ourselves here.
- Ordered calamari – crispy and delicious.
- Chose a 6 oz filet – tender and juicy.
- Tried a glass of wine – paired well with the steak.
- Girlfriend got the ribeye – also a winner.
While I was there, I noticed they also have a wood fire oven for pizzas. I watched them make a few, and it looked amazing. I didn’t order one this time, but it’s definitely on my list for the next visit. Seems like this place is good for families, too.
As I was finishing up, I overheard someone say they serve breakfast too. I didn’t see that on the menu, but maybe it’s a special thing. I’ll have to ask about that next time.
All in all, my trip to 528 Prime Steak and Seafood was a good one. Good food, nice place, and I even discovered a few things to try next time. Like, I heard the margaritas are good, and they also have tea if that’s your thing. And if you want more details, you could probably look up the menu or maps online, but where’s the fun in that? Just go and see for yourself!
If you’re in Tappahannock, 528 Prime Steak and Seafood is worth checking out.
Just walk in, grab a seat, and enjoy some good steak or seafood. And if you’re feeling adventurous, maybe try the pizza. Or the breakfast. Or the margaritas. You get the idea.
