Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this place, Latitude Seafood Co. in Bel Air. Don’t know nothin’ ’bout fancy writin’, but I know good food when I taste it.
First off, this ain’t no hoity-toity place. It’s just good, plain eatin’. They got all kinds of seafood, like that shrimp everyone’s crazy ’bout. Heard tell folks eat near five pounds of it a year! That’s a whole lotta shrimp, I tell ya. This Latitude place, they got it fresh.
- Shrimp
- Fish
- Crabs
And it ain’t just shrimp. They got all sorts of fish, and crabs too, I reckon. Don’t ask me what kinda fish, there’s too many to remember. But they cook it up real nice, make it taste good. They got cocktails too, if you’re into that kinda thing. Beer and wine too. Fancy stuff, but I stick to the food mostly.
This place ain’t new neither. Been around since 2015, first in some place called Midlothian, Virginia. Then they come up here to Bel Air. Guess folks like their food, or they wouldn’t still be around, right?
Now, I ain’t got no fancy phone to take pictures of the menu, but I seen it. They got prices on it, so you know how much you’re spendin’. Folks write down their opinions too, sayin’ what’s good and what ain’t. Most folks seem to like it though.
You wanna know where it is? It’s on some parkway, 5 Bel Air S Pkwy, somethin’ like that. Zip code’s 21014, if you need that. They got a phone number too, but I ain’t memorized it. You can look it up, I reckon. They got pictures online too, if you wanna see what the place looks like.
I ate there not too long ago. Had some seafood, can’t remember exactly what. Tasted good though. Real good. They make it fresh, right there in the kitchen. Not like them frozen dinners you get at the store. This is the real deal.
They got some raw stuff too, if you’re into that. Oysters, they call ’em. You can get ’em raw or steamed. Comes with some fancy sauces, if you want ’em. Cocktail sauce, horseradish, somethin’ called mignonette. Don’t ask me what that is, I just eat the food. And you get some sides with it too. Two sides, they give ya. Or you can pay extra for somethin’ fancy.
Some fella named Kevin Grubbs owns the place. He seems like a nice fella, always smilin’. He knows his seafood, that’s for sure. He makes sure everything’s cooked up just right.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some good seafood, and you don’t wanna spend a whole lotta money, this Latitude place is worth a try. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good. And that’s all that matters, right? Good, honest food. That’s what I like. And I reckon you will too.
They even got stuff for them vegetarians, though I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t wanna eat meat. But they got it, if you want it. Like I said, they got somethin’ for everyone.
So go on down there, give it a try. Tell ’em that old lady sent ya. They probably won’t know who you’re talkin’ ’bout, but that’s alright. Just go eat some good food, that’s what I say. Seafood, cocktails, whatever you like. Latitude Seafood, that’s the place. In Bel Air. You can’t miss it. Just look for the place with all the happy folks eatin’ good food.
