Okay, so, I’ve been seeing these Erewhon smoothies all over TikTok and Instagram, and, like, everyone’s obsessed. I finally decided to give it a shot, and see if i can make it by myself. Figured I’d try making a few at home, you know, save some money and, frankly, just see if I could.
My Erewhon Smoothie Journey Begins
First things first, I gotta to looked up some recipes.I searched a lot for recipes. And I found really a lot * of them are not the same. Finally, I try to pick some of the ingredients that I can found in my refrigirator.
I started with the, like, most basic one I could find – it called a “Coconut Cloud” or something,it didn’t use a name.
- Coconut Cream: I used a can of full-fat coconut milk, refrigerated it overnight, and scooped out the thick cream on top.
- Frozen Banana: Essential for, like, any smoothie, right?
- Almond Milk:I always have this on hand.
- Vanilla Extract: Just a splash.
- Ice: Duh.
I literally just tossed all that into my blender and, boom, first try. Honestly? It wasn’t bad! Super creamy, definitely had that coconut vibe. It wasn’t, like, exactly the same as the pictures I’d seen, but it was pretty * the color is different, mine is more yellowish.
Then I get a little adventurous.I Found another recipes.
- Strawberry: I bought a box of strawberry.
- Avocado: This seemed weird, but I went with it.
- Maple Syrup: For a little extra sweetness.
- Sea Moss Gel: Okay, this was the tricky one. I had to order it online.
I blended the base ingredients first, then layered in the sea moss gel (which, by the way, is kinda slimy and weird) and some extra strawberry puree I made. It looked… interesting.
The Final Verdict?
Okay, so, after making, like, three different versions, I can say this: making these smoothies at home is totally doable. They’re not exactly like the Erewhon ones, but they’re pretty darn close, and way cheaper. Plus, you can, like, customize them however you want. I added some protein powder to one of them, and it was awesome.
It is fun,and it is really tasty.I will keep trying more flavours.
